just ignore them. Don't give them the satisfaction. Let's be classier fans :-)
Go Red Sox!

2. We always have been.... |

God forbid their poor, desperate, underdog team from New York should... ever...{sniff}... not win a world series!
They've only won a few of them in the past decade! Oh the humanity! That poor team!
(too bad you can't bottle this stuff.)

6. In all seriousness, that'd be a first |
|
Having split my life half and half between NY and Boston, I can say without a doubt that Red Sox fans are the most classless fans I've ever seen. If I ever have one, I'd never take my daughter to Fenway at night...too many hooligans there to drink and fight rather than watch the game. Say what you want about the Yankees, but you're a lot better off wearing a Red Sox hat in NY than the other way around.

7. I'll second that . . . |
|
when I was living in Massachusetts, I once took a young friend (about 12 years old) to a Red Sox/Yankees game as a birthday present . . . the only tickets I could get were in the bleachers (but we were right behind the bullpen and got to watch Goose Gossage warm up and chat with Billy Martin) . . . even in those days, the language coming from the bleacher creatures was enough to make you want to leave . . . they completely disregarded the fact that there were many, many kids out there and unleashed their invectives with abandon . . . Yankee fans can be loud, but it's usually in good fun ("Who's your daddy?"), and fans who get obscene are escorted from the stadium . . .
maybe this embarassment of a series will shut the Sox fanatics up for awhile . . . this is so bad that "wait til next year" is going to sound pretty lame . . .

Last sox game i went to,the fans tossed the boxes that ice cream came in at each other.Sharp corners,it was kinda exciting, these were the Boston Fans just playing amounst themselves. Last year in L.A some guys traded gun fire in the Dodger Stadium parking lot. Those old ice cream boxes were the good old days
