19. You don't know what a metrosexual is, do you?
And if you're as offensive as your sense of humor, you won't be here long. :wtf:

23. How is that offensive?

And my effort to remain incognito, has, i fear, been betrayed by JK .

You do know me, and i'm a friend...

24. hi, SF

I tease my closest male friend about being a metrosexual because he has a collection of japanese shirts with gorgeous floral prints; he also tucks in his shirts, occasionally wears jewelry, and has a fondness for blazers over jeans. he is neat, clean, and pretty damn eye-catching, in a sea of baggy jeans and sweatshirts on campus.

I adore him and find him to be one of the most attractive men i have met; hence my comment today, was simply honest! i think a little vanity, flair, and "chutzpah" in male fashion is great.

31. It must be my turn to be the "lounge asshole" today. How embarrassing.
Looks like I should turn away slowly and tip-toe out of here. I've obviously spent too much time in GD reading about sin, Christians, Homosexuality, etc.

a.d. - my overreaction was to the idea that metrosexual is somehow a feminization of men (floral prints, etc.) when it's not. I'm sure you and Kleeb understand that 'metrosexual' is a marketing tool, yes?

With the hope of a quick and painless exit from this thread - I should confess that I usually stay out of Kleeb's threads and let the 'young' adults run freely through the lounge - wish I would have remembered that today.

And with copious amounts of egg on my face ( :silly: ), I offer a sincere apology to you. (embarrassed emoticon here)

32. no big deal, SF;

i know "metrosexual" is just a meaningless marketing tool/word;
i'm just being silly here, but also honest;

whatever "metro" may mean, i do like sharp dressers, who are unafraid to show flair;

too many men are afraid to, i think. & the ones who do, certainly stand out, most pleasantly, IMO. i don't consider them "feminine" in the least; although neither do i consider a feminine man or a masculine woman, negative. i find all gender ambiguity quite refreshing and natural.

cheers!

Well, maybe not the least, but I really don't pay attention to stuff like that.

So, considering that, I say, go with it!

29. I still have mine, but never knew if I would--my mother's parents
separated when her father was about 30 (you didn't divorce back then)--basically my grandmother threw my grandfather out, and they never saw him again.
