Isn't it ironic that a day after setting a new low in Red Sox history, they send out a pitcher named Derek Lowe to rescue them?

I listened to the previous 3 games on radio so I didn't have to hear McCarver lusting after Jeter. If you get ESPN radio in your area maybe you could turn your tv down and listen to the play by play on the radio while you watch the action on tv. It's some guy and Joe Morgan calling the game and they do a good job. Morgan is one of my favorite announcers.

That Derek Lowe has thrown a no-hitter? Sure, he's been... well, sometimes horrible this season, but still, he occasionally has flashes of brilliance.
