I never know what to do in these kinds of situations. I am having a large sofa (sectional) delivered this week. Do you tip delivery or installation people and how much? They are delivering it to the first floor, no steps and securing the pieces together. What do you guys tip people who do services for you?

1. I usually give them a drink or something-soda, or whatever is on hand |
|
They usually appreciate that more than a buck or two anyway.

2. Offer them coffee, soda or iced tea or something - and this |
|
comes from a former bartender who seriously overtips.
