What toy did you buy your pet that you regretted? |
|
I bought this stuffed ape, but I swear I did not know it had this chattering howl when you squeezed it in a certain way. The most obnoxious sound you could imagine, other than the real chimp chattering.
My dog loves it. He won't stop making it chatter.

When he decides he wants to play in the middle of the night, he brings them and puts them next to me in bed. I wake to a line of doggie toys next to me.
Actually this is a massive improvement on what he did when I first got him. One night, less than a month after he arrived, he dropped a slobbery wet tennis ball on my face. A couple more spectacular awakenings (although with things less painful than the tennis ball) convinced him that this was not the way to get Mommy to play with him. That's when he started loading my bed up with toys.

...or more specifically, a laser level. Handy for home improvement, but one of our cats loves it, too. Every night when I approach our bed, she runs over because she wants me to play with her. She's obsessed. On the other hand, it's the only exercise she gets. :)

that was filled with cotton puffs. Of course, she tore it open almost immediately, and there was cotton all over!

6. we bought our guinea pig Bob a chewy thing that hangs down |
|
from the top of his cage, it has some salt lick things and some hard chew things to keep his teeth in good shape, the toy itself it ok but it has a bell on it, there is no way to remove the bell without wrecking the thing. I must hear that bell go about 100 times a day.

7. Anything that squeaks or rattles |
|
Luckily, they don't last too long around here. I think the collection is down to one that still squeaks. It's at the bottom of that basket. ;-)

11. A plastic ball with a bell in it |
|
This was years ago, and I'm not sure they even make them any more. But at the time I lived in an apartment with all the rooms opening off one long hallway. At night when I was trying to sleep, the cats would decide to play soccer up and down the hallway.
Tinkle-tinkle.
Tinkle-tinkle.
Tinkle-tinkle.
