Sirius or XM????
I need help?

I am a huge football fan (pro for Sirius)

I don't have Air America in my city (a bit of a pro for Sirius since they XM doesn't get Air America at night)

I really like Bob Edwards (pro for XM)

I am a loyal Honda drive (XM will be standard in all 2005 and later Hondas)

I'm torn. Any thoughts??

2. XM was our pick
I just looked through their various playlists and stations and picked based on that. Well, that and Sirius had some ridiculously sexist advertising a while back that annoyed me, thus making it easier to buy against them.

Been really happy with XM, which we listen to at night in our home office while we work. And yes, Bob Edwards is a favorite too!

Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

7. Like 2%.
Not a huge chunk by any respect. I got my wife an Xm Roady for Christmas, so we're still locked in, but with Stern, the NFL, and Air America all on Sirius, I think we'll be making the change.

5. When in doubt, ask...
"What Would Howard Do?"

Howard says Sirius.

Howard says it. I believe it. That settles it.

6. Siruis
or XM? Definately for Stern and Football...notice how XM is the one always advertised on Fox? I don't buy anything I see advertised on FOX I want the advertisers to reconsider their thinking properly.

9. XM IS RUN BY BABY-EATING DEVIL WORSHIPPERS!
No, actually XM is pretty cool. I love it, personally, and it's not owned by Clear Channel.

16. You mean
You didn't sacrifice a baby at the alter of Clear Channel this morning? I thought all XM listeners were supposed to do that. And then meet and McDonald's afterwords in our Humvees. No wonder I've been getting funny looks :)

10. Sirius also has online stream for their music programming
I'm pretty sure they will let you try it out. You can get a feel for their music programming.

Do both have traffic channels in your city? It's nice. Much more frequent than regular radio (we have Sirius).

11. I have XM
and it has some good overall programs, though I think the music selection is weak and limited. But for $10 a month... what the hell. I don't know enough about Sirius to give an opinion, but I'm luke-warm about XM, yet feel it's better than FM radio.

12. I'd go with Sirius
because I'd rather listen to Mike Malloy than Alan Colmes when I'm not at home by my computer. And Howard Stern is going to be with them.

I didn't know Honda was making it standard equip.

13. Get both :-)
The main problem with Sirius is the limited play lists on there music channels. XM's music programing is much better. If your mainly into talk then XM suck big time. Read these forms and see what others are saying about both systems.

17. Yes. It depends on what you want.
Talk show and sports fans are probably going to like Sirius better. Music lovers are going to love XM, particularly if their biggest complaint about traditional radio is the crappy programming and selection. I have the opportunity to listen to both on a regular basis, and they're both wonderful choices, for different reasons.
