1. I am listening to Mos Def's NEW CD "The New Danger" BRILLIANT!!!

sexy, prophet-like, nasty and beautiful!

He is way cool. Something for everyone and something to probably piss everyone off.

But I love it. (My fifteen year old daughter bought it for my birthday which was during the summer. I turned a traumatic fifty)

I grew up on R&B and Curtis Mayfield. Marvin and Gil Scott Heron.

He takes all these and bad brains too into a new dimension of message and groove.

On Edit": PS the Jazz licks are wonderful and he is playing the Blue Note in NYC next month with his jazz peeps
