Statisticians=Stupid: END fad of "12 to 16%", just say 14%

A stupid fad of giving two numbers instead of THE average,

has plagued us for five years now.

Just give the AVERAGE, not two numbers.

We have dozens of specialized fields to keep track of.. we do not want to add to the burden of recalling stats, by DOUBLING the amount of numbers to recall.

It is one of the stupidist fads i have ever seen.

More stupid even, than the fad of weathermen putting dew point in all shows... as if we were farmers worried about the dew wetting our hay too much. Relative humidity is the bottom line stat. Dew point alone tells us nothing about how we feel the air.

I agree having had college stats and polls in college(true), this why stats can be used for anything. I wrote this link as a protest to
the whole problem of stats and polls.
