No one told me bats are nocturnal. |
|
Little F, our new vampire bat, sleeps during the day, and then attacks me, as I try to catch some zzzzzzzzs, in the middle of the night. Those bite marks are really annoying - and almost look like hickeys gone wrong. Now that I am up to begin my day, she is hanging upside down in my chimney, asleep again. And my neck hurts.
Anyone else have a nocturnal bat?

1. I have dozens of brown bats |

They come out at sunset and swoop the pool getting water before they take off on their nightly hunt - they're actually playful if they know you.
I don't know that there are any bats that aren't nocturnal. Hope you don't turn into a vampire bat. Hanging from your bedroom door frame by your toes seems a lot less comfortable for sleeping than using a bed.

2. God, I hope I don't turn either. |

I would have to upgrade my door frames - I don't think they'd hold that much weight. :scared:
