5. Wasn't Coltrane dead before the 70s?
Good call on the others, though.

6. I was actually going to include The Clash...
...but it flew out of my head due to my short attention span. Thanks for reminding me.

10. I thought about that, actually.
I suppose if I'm going to include Phil Spector on the 60s list, I should include Eno on the 70s list. I did put on Roxy Music, which should count for something. :)

15. You put a lot of bands/people that owe their careers to Eno on the list.
That's makes him all the more impressive. :hi:

13. D'oh!
I thought about including Return To Forever. Can't believe I forgot the other two. I guess I should put Al DiMeola on as well.

17. Now whether you like 'em or not
Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers band were important and influential artists in the '70's. I was there, so I (faintly) remember this stuff. JUST NO DISCO!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though it may have been influential, it was awful. Still is, for that matter.

19. The Sex Pistols, the Ramones and the New York Dolls
all instrumental in the punk movement of the mid 1970s. Joe Strummer and Mick Jones were influenced by all three of these bands.
