Help, please. DU page loading question over here.

Good morning.


I'm sitting here on a Mac OS X running Firefox 1.0 Preview release and as I browse each of the DU topics and threads, etc., the page continues to load and load and load but doesn't appear to finish. I can see the pages fine but they're not completely loading.

Anyone know of some script running or a linked to site that's not responding? Anyone else experiencing this particular issue?

It makes me a little nutsy when pages appear but there's obviously something still running in the background that hasn't completed.

1. okay. this is what I typically do.

I open up any close-by window. Pick up the computer. And very gently, mind you now, it's very gently, chuck the damn computer out the window. You wanna talk about satisfaction!

Have you ever heard of a plexiotomy?

That's a surgical procedure in which a person has a piece of clear plexiglass inserted into their abdomen.

It's so people whose head is up their a@@ can see where they're going.
