Poll question: What kind of processor do you use?
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 11:37 AM by ironflange
As for me, we have three Intels and three AMDs. Yes, we have six computers in the house, damn it, but the strange thing is, they all get used on a regular basis.

2. Cuisinart.
There's something in this computer, too, and something in the comp at home. Don't know what those are, though. And I don't care.

27. then we can go to step two:
They all are called "PowerPC" for newer Macs; Gx is just the generation (as x86 for a PC). To keep in line with "AMD" and "Intel", "IBM and/or Motorola" would probably be the correct option.

Stupid Apple CPU monopolism. :P

14. someday I will own one of those!
if I don't break down and get an iBook first (it better suits my needs as a writer).

Once you go Mac you never go back. This is STILL the fastest, most rugged, machine I've ever used and my iMac (G3 350 mHz) was ROCK SOLID.

21. yep, MDD
I bought it from a friend when he upgraded to a Dual 2 Ghz G5. Haven't had a problem with it. He installed quieter fans before I bought it so it only sounds like an ME 262 taking off and not a Boeing 777.

Here it is-

12. Here....a PowerMac g4
At home...I have an iBook G4 and an old G3 iMac.

Once I move, I'm gonna make them talk to each other...because what a single person needs is two computers that talk to each other...
