Why do they make that poor old Pope

1. He likes the hat you got a problemwith that?
Perhaps you are jealous of his big ol hat? I'd demand a big ass hat too if they forced me to ride around fish tank all the damn time.

4. Kinda getting rediculous
I'm getting the impression he wants to die on the road. I think it's sweet he wants to see as many people as possible, but really.

6. I don't know,
but when is he going to retire? He really should, he's obviously losing a lot of his mental faculties.

7. I don't think that's an option.
I think historically you have to die with your red velvet slippers on, so to speak.
Yeah, if I wuz him I'd wear a green John Deere cap.

10. I gotta admit.
I'm on a bit of a roll today.
Sometimes the muse smiles and the synapses fire and sometimes...

14. It was a copy & paste
but, yeah, funny.

Saw one once that lampooned the disclaimer at the end of a business e-mail, law firm, I think. I'd like to find that one again and stick it on all of mine.

15. I didn't know that.
I thought it was actually a "lifetime" job.
In that case, I think I'd start collecting my pension and kick back a little.

12. Actually, his mental faculties are doing pretty well
But he is a prisoner of his Parkinson's-raddled body.

17. I'm sure he's as sharp as ever
but it's to the point that it's painful to watch him anymore. Eekk.

16. lol you think our hats are funny
say hello to our friends in the eastern orthodox. Just joshing with them, lol plenty of them where I am ancestered from some what. Not in Ireland, if I met an Irish Eastern Orthodox I would giggle but I would if I met a Russian evangalical fundie as well. Heh. On a serious note Eastern Orthodox's bishops and stuff do have pretty interesting clothing that makes the Pope look mainstream.
