Sure, he's not really a "Limey", but he spells color with an unneeded "u" peppered in there, so that's close enough for me.
What's worse, he probably spells "check" like a Frenchie as well.

when in fact, during the Elizabethan era, color and honor were standard English spellings. If anything, US English is more historically accurate than English English.

and why do english use names we don't? Simon, Clive, Colin (pronounce 'Collin', not 'colon'). They spell 'Jill' 'Gill' What's with that?
