for Ipod but that back also says you can use with the tunecast mobile fm transmitter. I'm hoping i only need this one product.

3. It's a lousy product.
No power whatsoever with lots of interference.
I bought one, tried it for a day and returned it.

5. the 4 channel version? Take it back.
It''s the battery operated one with the 4 channels? It's rotten in station-heavy areas. (We can't use it in Norfolk, VA, Denver, or Boston. Haven't tried it anywhere else recently.) Also, it chews AAA batteries like gum.

We own both the Belkin kit and the iTrip. We use the iTrip almost exclusively. We use the Belkin only when we're in the truck, which has a pissy electrical system (because the iTrip really needs the iPod to be plugged into the car charger) and we only use the truck when we're going to the back of beyond, anyway. (In other words, with gas @ $2 a gal, we never use it.)

Your mileage may vary of course, but the 4 channel Belkin thing was a waste of money mostly. I know nothing about the multi-channel belkin adapter.

You do not need any software for the 4 channel adapter.

7. URGENT - need clarification on your part
Does your auto stereo have a cassette player?

Then you need one of those Cassette to mini-plug adaptor thingys. . .

Or is it CD only with FM radio?

Then you need an FM transmitter for iPod thingy. . .Griffin iTrip is the best.

I am not sure which Belkin you have. . . .what is in the package?

9. Pick it out from this page --
I think you just have a power adaptor which allows your to power the ipod, but no audio connection

11. Ok - that has an audio out, but requires something else to get to your
stereo.

Does your stereo have an audio line in? Then you just need a audio cable. (Some car stereos do have a line in on the front. . .but it is not that common)

If not you will need the fm thingy. . .

I have Belkin Tunecast FM transmitter - HATE IT.

Here is a place to buy iTrip -- it depends on the model iPod you have which one to get.

18. LOL - probably nothing to do with you at all = they were probably just
thinking about how much they hate working there. . .especially if the car stereo dept was cranked up and distorting.
