History Lesson for the day. |
|
My son, (he's 12) just asked me where John Edwards is from. I told him North Carolina. He said "Good God!"
He said "In 1655, there was a leader of the 'Great Awakening' named John Edwards from North Carolina. He was a great speaker, very vocal and got his points across very well."
It seems like we have another great speaker and leader from North Carolina!

I thought he was a new englander, because he was like a puritan I read. You should be proud though, I didnt know who that was at that age and I am a big history nerd.

I'll have him check his history book again. At least our John Edwards is better looking. :-)
