Anyone else here a Farmer's widow?
My husband works a full time day job and runs a large crop farming operation with his father. I haven't seen that guy for so long. Thank goodness I have DU to keep me company!

4. Not exactly...

....we (the kids and I)live in northern Illinois and my husband works in Detroit and comes home most weekends. Hopefully this situation will be ending soon.

It's tough...and I agree thankfully I have DU.

Cheers,
Kim :toast:

5. I am a software engineering widow
my husband gets so absorbed in his work that he can disappear for hours on end even on the weekend to work.

7. i do want to add that on my mom's side they were dairy farmers
and based on what she has told me...they worked and worked and once in a while they had a day of rest but that was pretty rare.. and they still had to milk the cows twice a day.

8. Yes! I grew up on a dairy farm and had to milk cows with my Dad
every night! I knew better then to get myself into this but he's sweet and treated me well. I was a sucker!
