Called Stewart a pompous ass.

and yes, Novak was sitting across the table. HA

Here's what was said (from cnn transcript):

NOVAK: Let me say something about Jon Stewart. I don't think he's funny. And I know he's uninformed.

CARVILLE: Well, I think he's funny. I just think he's a pompous ass attacking Ted Koppel. Why would you want to attack somebody that's been in this business this long? Attack CROSSFIRE, Tucker, me. Who cares?

NOVAK: Because he's uninformed. Because he's uninformed.

CARVILLE: He's funny, but he shouldn't attack Ted Koppel.

4. Unfrigging unbelievable
I wondered why Jon was saying stuff like "Novak's hip isn't broken, it's trying to escape" Then he said they're all dicks, I don't want to leave any of them out.

If you can see this show later tonight or tomorrow DO IT!

Go Jon!

5. Yeah, see my other thread

He talked about his appearance on Crossfire, and how Carlson commented about how he wasn't funny. JS's response: "Well, Monday, I'll be funny again, and you'll still suck!"

The spanking just kept going on and on.

The moment of Zen was a moment from (I think) Crossfire, with Bob Novak that not only was Stewart not funny, but he was utterly uninformed, and the other guy (Carville, I think) replying that he was pretty funny, but he was an arrogant ass.

It's one's opinion whether Stewart is funny ort not, but given that TDS is political/current events humor, one must be well-informed to write it, so Novak (IMHO) came off as just an angry, bitter man, eviscerated repeatedly by JS and TDS, sniping randomly with no merit to it.

6. For the purpose of accuracy
He did not say "Well, Monday, I'll be funny again, and you'll still suck!"

He said "tomorrow I'll go back to being funny, but you'll still be a dick."

Also: Fuck Bob Novak. That guy definitely deserves his title of Douchebag of Liberty.
