I hate it when a film is supposed to be set in the Midwest or anywhere else in the world, yet one sees a California landscape, huge mountains, eucalyptus trees, (even a palm on the horizon now and then).
I remember Urban Cowboy was supposed to be shot in Houston, but then on the horizon behind Bud and Sissy's mobile home there were brown, sun baked grassy California hills and the only hill in Houston is the sanitary landfill. What goes? No mobile home parks in Houston?
