Weird night.

All right, this time last week I was feeling sorry for myself because I had nary a romantic prospect and was all lonely. Just goes to show that you should watch what you wish for.

I went to a party with some friends the other day and met a friend of my ex-boyfriend (who was also there), who, I was told, had a girlfriend.

Last night, the guy calls me and asks me out to coffee.

Tonight, my ex-boyfriend calls and invites me out to a jazz club.

When he picks me up, he hands me a long-stem red rose. Crap.

When we get to the club, the new guy is in the band. Double crap.

Why isn't anything ever easy?! :shrug:
