2)The rebuilt Shilling, the had the technology

1)Pedro's lucky midget is now batting cleanup

1. And the games are getting LONGER, not shorter.
5 hours, 49 minutes last night. And worth every nail-biting minute. :-)

And think about this: thank god they started the game at 5pm... if that had been an 8pm game, they would've gone 'til 2am!!!

3. AL curfew?
Reminds me, I heard once that the AL has a rule where no inning can start after 2 am. However, nobody I've been talking to has ever heard of that. Sound familiar to anyone around here?

That could become an issue tonight if this trend continues!

7. no, they'll play until dawn if they have to
ending a game may give an unfair advantage to one team (getting rest in the 'pen) no one will stop a playoff game due to lateness.

let's hope they play tongiht, the sox arerolling, the yanks are reeling. the lack of rest helps the team with the big mo.

The "late game" was already in the 7th by the time the "early game" ended. :D
