I just had my flu shot

..and I feel really crappy. I mean really crappier, like crappier than usual. I'm alraedy feeling crappy from infections leftover from surgery last week and yesterday I was hallucinating hampsters but right now I feel just plain WRONG.

1. It's guilt!

Little old ladies are dying in line and you got a flu shot! You feel guilty, man, guilty!

Just kidding, of course. I hope you feel better. I usually feel lousy for a couple of days after getting a flu shot. I think it is your body's antibodies kicking in.

Did you know that most of the symptoms of a virus are actually your body's own immune reaction? Your body is trying to make itself inhospitable to the invading virus by raising its temperature and producing loads of gunk.

2. I'm glad you got one

Now you can take care of us (all 53,000+)when we come down with the flu. I like my OJ without pulp, homemade chicken soup & gently fluffed pillows. Oh, & could you change the station, the remote is too heavy in my hand. (Hope YOU feel better).
