I saw John Cale last night |
Went downtown yesterday afternoon and I heard a very distictive viola sounding down the street. Hung around and listened to the soundcheck. Then went to the show later in the evening. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Not a 62 year old legend coasting on a reputation, but an ARTIST still in his prime. His voice is better than ever, and I have never heard a better pianist in all my years of attending performances. If his tour is coming to your town, please go. You will not be sorry.

5. There is no tour information on his website... |
but he is on the southern leg (Athens, GA last night) of a tour promoting his new record "Hobo Sapiens" Cale and an incredible three piece band.
