The squeaky wheel gets the worm

... or whatever. Anyway I subscribe to this magazine called Real Simple. Nice magazine, good ideas, good recipes. However, they have been including scent strips for perfume in the magazine--as do most magazine for that matter. Last issue they had not one, but two ads with scent strips. Well, that was the camel that broke the needle's back.

I wrote a letter to the western advertising manager and told her if they continued to include scent strips I would cancel my subscription. I just got a message from her. And it seems that I will be getting my magazines without any scent strips!

So squeak on, folks. Sometimes they listen.
