1. Bea Arthur is a Bushbot, I guess she really is a man
Only a self hating drag queen could support Bush.

5. Art Alexakis from Everclear
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 04:00 PM by benito
Edit to add
http://www.undercover.com.au/news/2004/july2004/20040723_everclear.html

Everclear's Art Alexakis has been elected as a delegate to the Democratic National Committee.

The Everclear singer will travel to Boston for the Democratic National Convention to nominate John Kerry and adopt the party platform. "We have an amazing democratic ticket, John Kerry and John Edwards are the American Dream team," says Alexakis ins a statement. "This is a year of choice for America, we are being controlled by an appointed regime that has traded the American Dream for corporate profits, censorship and cronyism. We need leadership that is inclusive rather than exclusive, leaders who believe that free speech is a given right and not just for a privileged few. To say that this is an important election year is an understatement, in my opinion, it's more like a call to arms."

He has re-recorded a version of the old Woody Guthrie classic 'This Land Is Your Land' for the campaign and will shortly make the song available as a download from rockthevote.com. "It's time to put ideas into action" he says. "It's up to each of us to take back the American Dream, we need to get up off our asses and do whatever we can to fight hypocrisy, lies and double-talk."

18. Arthur Miller
is certainly a great Arthur.

BTW, Bea Arthur, whose show (Maude) was a Norman Lear (People for the American Way) production, had an abortion on one episode. It was controversial at the time, but nowhere near what it would be today. They couldn't even do that show today. For that matter, they couldn't do All in the Family today, either.
