2. Very encouraging.

About 50-50 K-B. And my wife met a couple who were both Republicans. She's voting Kerry, he's still undecided but very discouraged with Bush. Is that great or what?!?!?

3. that's great. I think a lot of people are

starting to wake up to the fact that the war isn't going so well. However, I was discouraged to hear that people in New Jersey overwhelmingly thought they were safer with Bush at the helm. Ridiculous to me since he was at the helm on 9/11. I don't get it sometimes.

How bloody shameless is that? Especially when the 9/11 widows are coming out in support of Kerry?!

5. Iowa Democratic Party

We went canvassing for the Iowa Democratic party. We got three absentee ballots and one registration turned in. We were only out for 2 hours. We went canvassing because all of the phones at central headquarters were full. We are going to call tomorrow night after 7pm using our cell phones.

6. Did you happen to encounter any repuke

7. One person told my wife she didn't want to talk to her.

But she was nice about it. Our list of voters is made up of folks who are registered to vote but haven't voted recently. Our goal is just to identify Kerry supporters and encourage them to get out to vote. If we encounter a Bush supporter, we just say, 'Have a nice day" and move on (no pun intended). We're not supposed to get into an argument with them. It's very non-confrontational.
