|
Does anyone know what program(s) I can use to EASILY get my DVD to DivX? Or is there no software YET that can do it easily?

1. Easy, maybe. Fast? no. And the legality is questionable |
|
BUT, I think DVD 123 had a utility in it. Alcohol 120% most likely does, too.

3. The legality is probably fine if it's for personal use. |

Compressing already owned films minus the extras to put on a laptop for travel, for example. Or, as I just did, copying the film from a scratched DVD and reburning it to a DVD-R for archival purposes (and to watch without the stuttering and stopping resulting from the scratches).

that the answer is no.
I mean....if it was easy...yall would describe the process quickly the way I would describe how to rip cd's:
download mediasource, click audio cd, tools | settings| Audio CD Rip tab | under rip format change to what you want, select the tracks you want, click the -> arrow button. thats it...it should be ripping...
