That is SO SWEET OF YOU! It's great to be missed. <blush>
I have returned! I've been on vacation for the past several days. Lost a week of timeshare at a mountain resort in VA because my doggie was not welcome there (asshole no-dog people! ), but ended up with a better vacation than any stoopid ski slope hiking and hot tub soaking could've provided, anyway.
BTW - anyone know if it's legal for a resort to send you ZERO paperwork about their pet policy before check in, and then post a sign at the registration desk saying that if you're caught with a pet, they'll charge you $250 A DAY for a pet fee? Not the way I wanted to be greeted after a 6-hour drive to the place with my dog along for the ride...

I would tell yo uto go atraight after those dog hating Nazi's. If none of their printed matter to entice you there and contracts you signed said diddley about dogs then in this day and age I would say that means they are dog friendly. asswipes.
Hope it was kewl anyway.

Since my Mom's passing, I inherited a clean, fat hairy cat....
The Pet Policy should have been spelled out up front and in "black-and-white" in the initial contract and in each and every amendment they sent you as a partial owner in their Association.
$1750 a week without accopmanying paperwork concerning Pet Policy on top of what you've spent sounds like a greedy Freeper looking for non-taxable income to me.
You may want to consult with a real-estate lawyer in Virgina to see if you can get them to "take-and-place it" on your terms.

2. I would say they have to tell you up front |

about their pet policy, especially if it's a condo/time share situation vs. a hotel.
You should go after them. Hopefully, your vacation wasn't ruined.
It's great to see you back!

and everyone else - it is great to be back to the DU.
My vacation was not at all ruined. In fact, I had probably the most silver-lining experience ever because of these dumb anti-doggers. Will have a Lounge thread at some point to share my particular giddiness with everyone in a (hopefully) non-obnoxious fashion. But today shall be spent trying to find work. And have I mentioned, on the job front, anyway - oy friggin' vey? ;-)
