1. What are you talking about? They just won one!
In '18.

You gotta go ALL the way back to '08 to find a WS victory for my Cubbies!

4. Are you really that clueless, or being sarcastic?
I didn't mean "one" in the sense of "only one". I meant it as "they just won A world series."

Do you get my joke?

You see, it's been a long time since the Sox won A series, but it has been 10 years longer for the Cubs, so for Cubs fans, it is like the Sox just won A series, like yesterday.

Get it?

13. Hope I didn't seem too harsh. Nuance is lost in email and postings.
I was smiling when I said that, mister!

as well as 1912, 16 and 18.

6. Of Course There Are People Old Enough to Remember
Anyone in Boston who's 90 years old would have been 4 in 1918. It would be a treasured childhood memory. And if that's too young, some people live to be 100.

16. Nice try
Four-year-olds don't remember shit when they hit 90.

They are old enough to be partisans, however:

7. Yes, I do want to see your rings.
My guess is you've never played a game of pro ball in your life. Yah, high school slow-pitch is about your level of experience.

Am I right?
