Anybody miss me?
I just got back from my seven week USAF class in sunny Montgomery Alabama.

Anybody up for some juicy discussions about the Ten Commandments, the tax referendum or Montgomery AL-A-BAM, in general, give me a prompt.

4. After Action Report
I hope to God that the USAF never sends me back to Montgomery, Alabama.

I have never, in my almost 42 years, been to a more backward place before in my entire life.

Now get this:

There is not ONE strip club, adult book or adult video store in the entire city. Zip, nada, not one. The place is the state capitol, for God's sake. I got a feeling that everyone either goes to Florida or Atlanta for a little fun. (That's what I did)

The place has no discos, at least none I wold be caught dead at.

No alcohol sales on Sunday.

Everytime I went downtown, day or night, the streets were empty, except for the crazed bible thumpers surrounding the Alabama Supreme Court.

The place is so humid, the summer breezes could make for great wet tee shirt contests. Too bad that they're illegal in that state.

I went to the two chain book stores B&N and BAM, and i couldn't find any progessive magazines at all. But there were plenty of right-wing ones that were not even good enough to be used as toilet paper.

About those Monument Idolators: They either have to be the stupidest people I have ever seen or some of the biggest hypocrites. Jesus help them.

Thank goodness I'm back in Virginia.

If Judge Roy Moore tried to pull a stunt like that in this state, they'd run him into the ocean on a rail.
