Actually M&M's never contained Red Dye #2. They always used Red Dye #3 and Red Dye #40. Still, I have a theory as to the decline and fall of America and the rise of the BFEE, neocons and religious right. Think about it, Red Dye #2 was banned by the FDA in 1976. 4 years later we get an ex-B movie actor as president. It's all about the Red Dye #2 I tell you!
