Proof Canada thinks about Hockey - maybe just a bit too much....

Hit the link, it shows the top ten finalists for the greatest Canadian vote CBC is doing. Two of them are Hockey related. Don Cherry and Wayne Gretzky. I don't know why I'm not on that list, but that's another thread.

Anyway, could you imagine a list of the top ten greatest americans and seeing John Madden and Roger Clemens on the list?

Also, without Tommy Douglas, there would be no Keifer Sutherland - that's his grandpa!

I love Don Cherry, as much as the next person, but greatest Canadian. I thought that was over the top.

Did you see the show the other night. I knew Tommy Douglas was the father of universal health care, but I didn't know all the other things he did.

America tops the list when it comes to superficiality. Besides, I'd rather see hockey players than baseball players. :-)
