my two cockerspaniels had their first ride in my car today with the top down. My one cocker loves the wind blowing, so she sprawled out on the front seat enjoying the wind, my other cocker didn't care because he is a food addict-- looking all the time for the empty bag from McDonalds that no longer exists. He remained on the floor of the car sniffing for food. My cockerspaniels are 15 and 16 now with arthiritis in their back legs, doubt if they could jump out of the car. I had their leashes wrapped around my wrist just in case-- we didn't need to travel very far. They've been at the groomer all morning, we are home now with both of them camped out near my computer.

most refreashing of any stories. Of course, love my pets. Maybe you can remember but we always enjoyed the books of the english vet who wrote about his experiences and he had a show on tv for awhile. One of my favorite he told in his book was a customer he used to vist and had a bull dog or terrior and the dog passed gas a lot. He often wondered how the guy stood it until he found out his client could not smell. Guess worked out ok.
