Man I am coinflicted about this game.

I lived in NYC. Lived outside Boston.

Dad was a Boston fan (he was born there) but all my good friends were Yankee fans as a young man --- and I have been for years (ever since Reggie Jackson's 3 home runs whenever that was - that was truly amazing).

I WANT to see Mass beat Texas in the World Series AND the election and think that would be a great omen if Boston wins tonight.

But I actually prefer the Yankess and St Louis (my grandfather was a contributer to/investor in the cardinals waaaaay back when they got started).

Anyway, I want the red sox to beat trhe curse this year and Kerry win too.

But I cannot help loving the pinstripes.
