Yankee fan concession and congratulatory thread.
Congratulations to the Red Sox and Red Sox fans on winning the American League Pennant. Coming back from a 3-0 deficit is pretty amazing, those guys just would not quit. That was some really great baseball.

Boston in 6, so they can win the World Series at Fenway.
:toast:

Now please excuse us while we go get drunk.

2. If the Yanks lose, who you gonna root for in the series?
Still disliking baseball, I'd probably root for the Sox if it were them against whoever the Dallas (??) team is... problem is, I still haven't gotten the idear of the Sox being an actually good team (sorry ;) ) when basically it's been ingrained into my head that the Yankees are the best oiled baseball machine EVAAAAAAAA.

PLUS, they didn't even lose yet.

14. Yankees quit already.
They actually quit when they were up 3-0.

Somebody forgot to tell them that you have to win 4.

8. Life Long Yankee fan here
If the Red Sox win, I will be gracious, because we have won SO many times.

And hopefully, it will be an omen for John Kerry.

If HE & his Red Sox win, then I can deal with the Yankee loss.

9. It's not over yet
I really want the Sox to win it, and it's looking good right now, but I wouldn't start celebrating just yet. Only the 4th inning. Let's not jinx it ;)

12. i dont know man...
Yankees got 1 and 1/3 innings out of their starter, and their bullpen is wasted. Rivera wont save the day now. If the Sox were up 2 late Rivera could hold the lead, but he's useless now.

I was at Derek Lowe's no-hitter game three years ago. When his sinker is on (as it is tonight) he is unhittable. Sorry Yankee fans but it's pretty much over.
