During the weeks leading up to the election, lets show them "for whom the bell trolls."

2. Wait a while to get a good amount of replies to the troll

3. Once you have a sufficient amount of replies, post a link to the troll and copy and paste the text of the troll in case they yank it.

Seems like such a harsh term. Perhaps 'diverse opinion generator'...naw, too long and techie like (which fits me well).

perhaps we could start a thread for a new term to coin. Something new and original. We use freepers and trolls interchangably so that is a start, but I am looking for something with a little zing to it. Like Assholing :) I dunno, any ideas anyone?

What is the objective of your troll? Keep it simple. Speak in slogans. You are less likely to get tripped up this way. Remember what some greens have done here to bash all day,without getting banned. If you can posture that you're even further to the right than them,you can bash the Bush administration,the Republicans,the right wing media,and the movement that calls itself conservative,for years,without ever getting banned.

I'm new to the board so maybe my idea is not so new...

We need to start campaigning for the Constitutional Party to steal some of the votes from hard core evangelicals.

I noticed on all of the liberal message boards lots of cleaver posts that are anti-Kerry/pro-Nader written in a way that is supposed to appeal to the progressives. I think they're (Republicans) trying to plant doubt in our base. Obviously this method hasn't worked, because we're ultra energized this time.

Why don't we do the same thing? Start calling all the conservative shows and writing to all the conservative papers! We could write letters and talk in a way that would appeal to conservatives and then endorse Cobb. It's a little late in the game, but we could start saying in "safe" states it would be good to vote for Cobb because you would be building a party founded on traditional Christian values just like the constitution (I'm getting nauseous from saying that). If pollsters call you in the next few weeks tell them you're voting for Bush so the polls look good for him. Then - WHAM! - they won't know what hit them.

jumping down the throat of anyone caught not showing enough insane absurd enthusiasm. Don't get cute,and leave any room for anyone to be in on the joke. You've got to be deadly serious,as you say the most ridiculous of things. That reminds me of another possible troll identity unlikely to get banned,that of the insanely ridiculously absurdly enthusiastic freeper. Once again,don't get cute. Never include any hints that you are joking,unless your goal is to post for a day,and get banned.
