Why do baseball fans come to the DU Lounge to talk about sports?
Why not come here and just talk about kitties, food, tv, and sex?

I'm just wondering what all the fuss is about.

:D

1. It's the best rivalry in sports
Sox v. Yankees

You'll notice the NLCS doesn't get half as much attention.

11. and that's unfortunate..
I'm sure that will all change when the 'stros or Cards start their destruction of the Sox. The Sox will be emotionally shot after this series.

4. lounges are for sports not animals - although
sometimes the headings coming out of here - makes you wonder

the sports is on tv
and it is such a good series - against two great teams - loving rivalry - although for some it is lethal - I am glad I am not at the game - they are crazy -

9. Well, let's see ...

I just ate a pizza, my television is having sound problems, I haven't had sex in years, and my cat is a Red Sox fan.

:-)

15. It's very simple actually.
Food, sex, and the tee-vee are three boring topics to me. Baseball and my lovely cats or your lovely cats and baseball are not.

most sports forums are dominated by children, bullshitters, and masturbators. Flaming is construed as posting

at least here, folks have half a brain (myself excepted, after midnight i have 1/4)
