Did anyone catch the interview they did with Joe Torre (NY Yankees) after the Red Sox won?

He said "Just goes to show that even if you're the best closer in the world, don't mean you're gonna win"

I was thinking.. "good closer?"... who's he referring to anyway?

I pulled him up on Fundrace and can't find any donations.. Looks like a Joseph Torre, Jr. of NJ (related) donated to Bush.

Tom Werner, owner the Boston Red Sox donated to Kerry! :bounce:

Its very unfair I mean the Yankees have won 39 AL Pennants!! I'm glad the Red Sox won, they deserve it!! The curse had to end sometime.

The ownership of both teams is behind Kerry. There's a Boston sports-politics-entertainment industrial complex in Boston that I'm missing right now away from home.

Red Sox, Patriots, WBCN (my favorite radio station that is the home of the patriots, Howard Stern, and kick-ass liberal dj's), and of course all those democrats.
