Maybe the 2004 ALCS was a sign
New York held the GOP convention, Boston held the Democratic convention.

The Sox were down and pretty much left for dead by everyone until the bottom of the 9th of game 4.

Kerry was down and pretty much left for dead by the media until the first debate.

Hmmmmmmmmm.........

1. Sox vs. Astros, MA vs. TX, Kerry vs. Bush
It's getting weird out there.

3. I'm a Yankee fan, but I though the A-Rod acquisition was overkill . . .
having watched him all season, though, he just doesn't live up to his billing . . . his percentage with batters in scoring position was miserable, and when he hits he looks like he's playing for the cameras as much as he's trying to hit the ball . . . big disappointment, and the Yankees are stuck with him because of his contract . . . and he is a bit of an asshole to boot . . . Jeter has far more class than A-Rod will ever have . . .
