1. Unencumbered....I love those personal ads that reduce |
|
kids to the like of encumbrances. I have two encumbrances myself. :hi:

My first experience with that was almost a year ago. I had this sort of weird attraction thing with someone I went to school with (nothing happened or anything and I was pretty cold to him really, so he didn't know I even had an attraction in return). He said I'm his "ideal woman" if not for being married with kids. Well, I'm not going to be married much longer, but I'll still be heavily "encumbranced"- jointly anyway. Something people will just have to deal with. If they can't, don't waste my time.

3. A woman from Rochester NY took out a similar ad about 10 years ago... |
|
...and did find someone, I think. Don't know how that's turned out in the long run, though!

6. She's asking for a lot |
|
I think it's funny that people take out these ads. They always think they're a bigger prize than they really are. If she were to look around at the office or the local hiking club or even a singles bar or coffee house I think she could find someone. She'll have to take a less than perfect human being though because there are no perfect human beings.
This is coming from someone who is single - but then I never was as desperate to find someone as this lady appears to be.
