Red Sox Nation: SHOW ME SOME LOVE!!!! |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-21-04 08:12 AM by sirjwtheblack
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Unlike our asshole counterparts, I will do nothing more than cheer for our team's success and not rub in the fact that they became the first team in MLB history to blow a 3-0 lead. That would be wrong of me to express the sentiment that they choked since it was a hard fought series by both squads.

1. You and all of the Red Sox Nation |
|
deserve to be ecstatic! As a Cub's fan, I know how things are with regard to baseball. You have given us hope, too. I want you to know that my entire family was cheering for the Red Sox on every pitch of this series. CONGRATULATIONS!! Perhaps the winds of change are really blowing and this is a good omen for all of us. Maybe next year, the Cubs....

5. Well I want you to know I've been cheering for the Cubs since 1987 |
|
I grew up admiring Ryne Sandburg, Mark Grace, and Greg Maddox. I can't say I'm a "Cubs fan", because I believe you can only truly be a fan of one team, but I'm with ya there in Chicago! Thanks for the support!!

this morning. No problem 'cept this is a public school in Manhattan. A lot of the parents were irked. I asked her where she was from and of course she's Dominican. She said she's never been into any of the NY teams. Told her I was from Mass. and that not to worry there are lots of us here!
WOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

A Twins fan here but the whole family was rooting for the Sox. Now if Houston wins, we'll have a Mass / Texas series during the election. How much fun that could be!
