Ewwww.
When I was a kid, it was 60 cents for a six-pack - Cheaper than Coca-Cola. And it is pure swill.

even though I've never had it. I hate regular Rolling Rock, so I can only imagine how much worse a light version of it is.

All the rest - may as well hit yourself between the eyes with a ballpeen hammer. Same effect, less expense.

Plus the Coors family is one of the "Four Sisters" of RW funding. http://hnn.us/articles/printfriendly/1244.html...oh AND TWINS (almost forgot the whole basis for anyone to ever buy Coors Light).

And in the import category, Pilsner Urquell? Nasty, nasty fluids, misleadingly marketed as beverages for human consumption.

11. I am sorry, but for the most part, American beers... |
|
besides micro-brews, etc, are pretty sad. Bud, Old Milwaukee, Coors, do not even qualify as beer IMO. What the hell did we do to traditional beer?

Go to a Korean restaurant and order an OB beer. Attempt to drink it. Pretty fuckin' nasty, huh?
Well, it's just as bad in Korea.

30. From the Underground Mines of the Upper Peninsula...... |
|
"There is no such thing as a bad beer...it is just some beers are better than others!"
I had graduated from H.S. in "75" and got a job working in the last underground iron mine in the United States. The Mather "B" mine had been producing high grade iron ore for over 40 years before I got hired.
Of the many old timer sayings I learned... the one posted above is one of my favorites and fits the mindset of the miners very well. Heavy drinking and partying was just the way it was back then.
I still can't say that I like Heineken though...:toast:
