The way they're both playing, it MIGHT happen!

But I doubt it'll reach the fever pitch of a Yankees--Red Sox series.

1. The Pats have to deal with the Jets first.
The Jets are 5-0

2. Against all shitty teams.
Unlike the Pats having beaten Indy and Seattle. Oh, and 20 straight wins.

9. I didn't realize they played 20 games this year already!
One season at a time is all that matters...

11. Except when the team has actually improved from last year.
You can discount the previous 15 games all you want. The truth is that it's the same group +Corey Dillon.

4. I tend to think New England will make it...the Giants are waiting to
implode--I don't think they're really that good--a weak schedule because they were so bad last year.

10. Eagles and Patriots Will be Hard to Beat This Year
Nevertheless, who knows what will happen in the playoffs? Those team have to win two games each against other playoff teams.

Barring several key injuries, the Giants should get a wild card. They are solid -- there is no reason for them to implode. The Patriots may make a run at an unbeaten season, but the odds are against any team these days -- too many unknowables, too many other strong teams gunning for the Super Bowl winner.

13. The Gianst impressed me against Dallas, and you're right, they will
probably get a Wild Card. But I still think it's more due to their weak schedule than anything else.
