I think it took me a couple of weeks before it dawned on me that my name would always be there, right above the subject line, and so I didn't really need to sign

1. I was a long-time lurker before I actually started posting,

so I guess I didn't have too much of a learning curve (except for the screwy DU HTML).

Heck, I'm still in the low 400s, but I've been (I guess not as) actively (as others) posting since about when the war started.

3. What's confusing is if someone signs a different name

I mean some people log in as one name, and then sign another at the bottom of their message. I never quite figure out with some of them if someone else is posting for them.
