Okay...not really. But, with a little hope, we'll get the Lounge back to football...where it rightfully should be. :hi:

15. NO.....
I did not forget about Pete Rose....but you have to admite that the main reason football is so popular is because it is a good sport when it comes to gambling. It is hard to bet on baseball. Football is another story. When people gamle they want to watch the team they have betted on. Also, the NFL has had their own gambling scandals as well....Paul Horning I believe, right?

16. I never said it didn't. For me, football is fond memories with my father.
It's exciting and full of action. Betting rarely comes into it. I watch the Packers because I love the Packers. Every sport has its scandals...football is just a better all around sport. :hi:

Ask Shoeless Joe how hard it was.

19. Baseball is awful and has been since 1994.
I will not be duped. John Elway is an ass for not playing for the Colts...bastard that he was.

10. Favre has to be with Pack to beat Washington
If the Redskins get beat in the game before the presidential election, the challenger wins. If the Redskins win, then the incumbant stays in office.

20. I drafted Favre as a backup on my fantasy team...
...with Hasselbeck as my projected starter, and Favre's been kicking his ass. So, even though the Seahawks are playing Arizona, I'm starting Favre against the 'Boys. Oh, and I also have Ahman Green - what a disappointment he's been! He was my #1 pick! He still has time to make a monster comeback...keeping my fingers crossed.

21. He does this every year. He'll get it together and stop the fumbling
by midseason, which is upon us. :hi: FWIW, TB is my defense on my fantasy team. Oy vey...:hi:

23. I sure hope you're right!
I was actually thinking about dealing him off, but I may hold onto him for a few weeks longer to see if he improves (and stops fumbling). Word is, however, that his achilles (I think) is really bothering him and may affect his workload against the Cowboys this week.
