The Curse Is Not About Beating The Yankees
It's about winning the World Series. They beat out the Yankees in 1967 and 1975. In the 80s, the Red Sox routinely beat the Yankees. They made the World Series in 1986, and they won the East Divisin in 1988 and 1989, only to lose to the Oakland A's. So, beating the Yankees is not the curse. The curse is on winning the World Series.

8. I like the "COMECHOKE"
I was using "Comeback" for celebrations and "Choke" for taunting, but I see you've found a way to combine the two. Very nice indeed. That's the problem with not actually being IN Massachusetts right now - I'm missing out on all these wonderful things. :-(

Yeah, your team sucks, they lost and we broke the curse...no you didn't, your last World Series win is in 1918 still, so stuff it.

3. Yeah, but it feels good to beat the Yankees.
But you're right, I think they only broke the curse of Bucky Dent and/or Aaron Boone last night.

The Bosox worked so hard to get where they are at, but beating the Yankees is not enough IMO
