How many Sinclair advertisers have you written today?
I'm contributing to a flood on last minute emails to advertisers who can encourage stations to defy Sinclair's orders ...

http://www.boycottsbg.com/advertisers/default.aspx

I'm writing you to enquire whether and how you are levying your power as a advertiser in regards to the preempting of regular programming to air a "special" news item which amounts to an hour long attack ad on John Kerry.

I am sure believes as I do that this is as much an attack on our democratic principles and has notified of it's intentions.

, and am writing to inquire whether will be pulling advertising from Sinclair affiliates such as if they participate in this partisan use of the public airwaves.

Thanks!

1. My new tack was "What if Sinclair was lying about your Company?"
12, with a new tack - but got ignored or received boilerplate
about "Freedom of the Press" or "diversity of opinion."

My email went something like this:

Subj; What if Sinclair about {your company} Would that be ok?

--------
What if Sinclair Broadcasting did a "news show" on {your company} where you were:

1. Quoted out of context and edited to make it appear you said things you never said
2. Lied About by people with close financial ties to your competitors.

and it had all been disproved ahead of time by responsible news organizations like MSNBC and Nigthline?

Would that be "freedom of the press" or "diverse opinions?"

I want you to understand the seriousness of what Sinclair is doing.

I would be just as upset if Sinclair was airing proven lies about President Bush.

This is an abuse of the public airwaves, and {your company} needs to stand up to it.

I love {your company}. I buy {your product} all the time - you offer a great product at a really super value. But I will be happy to find an alternative if need be.

Thanks and best Regards,

Emulatorloo

----------------------------------------------

But I just get boilerplate back about "freedom of the press."
