4. YES!!!!
I get so sick of someone raising their finger to God after a big play, or after the game thanking the Lord for them winning. :puke:

6. I never did quite understand that myself
I remember Randall Cunningham saying in 1999 that the VIkings were going to win the Super BOwl in Jan 2000. ANd then God would have Judgment Day shortly after that.

Why would God base Judgment Day on sports? SPorts is just entertainment!

Glenda
p.s., the Vikes didn't win, so *whew* no Judgment Day!

7. Like God puts his whole universe "on hold" in order to watch a game
on this speck of dust called Earth, even ignoring the other 6.5 billion suffering souls, so that he can blow some air behind a ball to "lift" it over a fence!

9. I won this game because God loved me more than
my opponents. That's basically what they're saying.

10. I want to see someone thank God that they lost
because God wanted to teach them humility.

13. That may have happened two nights ago
When Curt Schilling was interviewed after winning against NY in NY, he said something like "During the first game I was out there by myself, without God. I lost because I ignored God. Tonight I was with God so I won."

11. How are they sure that it wasn't Satan who influenced the game?
Or maybe God wanted the other team to lose to teach them humility?

Or maybe Satan wanted the other team to lose so they would be more susceptible to selling their souls for victory?

Or ad infinitum.
