4. I'm thinking mine might be from mold; I live in Richmond, VA and this

time of year in particular is bad for mold, pollen, etc. Come to think of it, our office (and my car, to boot) was flooded last month and I'm sure the mold is quite plentiful. That may have something to do w/ it.

Hope you're feeling better soon, FSC. Have you tried Ricola cough drops? They work well for me.

5. Down here in VA Beach/Norfolk...

we call it the Norfolk crud. I have been sick with a virus since the fist of the month. Severe sore throat, swollen glands, tongue ulcers that made the sore throat even worse and severe congestion. And at the tail end of my misery, the COUGH that won't go away. What a joy!!

I think that your symptoms could be from the mold or allergies. Whatever the cause, the end result is a miserable feeling. Hope you feel better.

I actually need to go get some. Initially, it was the chest and diaphragm that hurt, but the throat is starting to hurt from the constant coughing. I'll hit the drugstore tomorrow.

I'm usually partial to Hall's Honey Lemon, but I've been wanting to give these a try.

11. my worst sympton

is that damn nasal drip that makes you swallow.

you can't stop. every few seconds you have to swallow. and you sure as hell can't drop off to sleep (never mind that you feel like hell in so many other ways) while you are constantly swallowing.

and i usually have two nights of it, so i feel like the walking death.

usually wears me out so that i run a fever and get those damn fever blisters on my lips, right under my nose, or on my chin. they turn raw, the scab molts every shower, so they turn bloody.
