MY IE isn't loading any pictures when I surf the web and is running up about twice as much RAM.

1. Have you tried just rebooting?

If that doesn't work, the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is clear cache, cookies, temp internet files.

2. I would start by deleting cache & cookies

The twice as much ram part, sounds like spyware.

Download spybotsd at http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

and adaware SE at http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

Run both programs and remove spyware.

Also, go to Internet Options from control panel and delete temporary internet files.

It should work correctly then.

ALternatively, dump IE altogether and download Firefox at http://www.mozilla.org and use that as your primary browser.
